Have you ever thought about how big the internet really is? I mean, it's huge, and it's getting bigger every day.

Of course this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does make it increasingly difficult to find what you are actually looking for. So what can you do about it?

Sure, search engines are great for finding information about specific queries, but sometimes you just don't feel like wading through pages of results trying to sort the wheat from the chaff. Sometimes you just want a straightforward list of websites that serve the purpose you are looking for.

And that's where comes in.

Just pick a category, any category, from the 2 lists on either side of this introduction and a list will magically appear, displaying websites that we think are the best in that category.

But don't just take our word for it, you may notice that the lists are ordered numerically, but not by us, this is done by you (although I'd like to think that we'd get it right anyway).

The websites are ordered by the average vote received from visitors to this website. Notice how we said 'vote' and 'visitors' and not 'amount of money in a suitcase' and 'our sponsors'. Not that we believe that skews the results of other websites out there.

Once you have visited a website, if you have a strong feeling either way about the quality of the website, just select a star rating between 1 and 5 and click. If you have no strong feelings then we still would like you to vote, but would recommend an average rating, something like 3 stars.

But what's this? The website that you rate above all others in not represented on the list? Well it is at this point that we would like to admit that yes, we are only human, and there are maybe 1 or 2 great sites that have been overlooked. Though only 1 or 2 mind you.
